Accreditation

The Landscape Program in the School of Architecture + Design at Virginia Tech offers accredited professional Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture degrees. Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB) evaluates graduate and undergraduate landscape architecture programs every six years judging whether a program is in compliance with accreditation standards.
Bachelor of Landscape Architecture - accredited through December 2020
Master of Landscape Architecture - accredited through June 2019

Student Achievements

In 2016 Design Intelligence ranks the undergraduate Landscape Architecture program is ranked #13 in the nation and 4th in the South. In the Deans’ Survey, the undergraduate Landscape Architecture program is recognized as the 5th most admired program nationally. In the student survey, 100 percent of landscape architecture students from Virginia Tech reported that they believe they will be well prepared for their profession upon graduation.

All students in the graduating class of 2015/16 who sought employment in the field of landscape architecture were able to obtain a position! Numerous continuing students obtain summer employment and/or part-time employment during the academic year related to landscape architecture.
